This stylish apartment (which can also be accessed via an internal door from the main residence) includes a queen-sized bedroom, a kitchen and bathroom, a split-level open plan living area and a wall of glass showcasing the view.

A staircase in the main residence leads from the tiled entry to the living and entertaining level. The living area features vaulted ceilings, creative architectural details and a wall of glass and timber bi-fold doors opening to the terrace. This covered terrace is an extension of the living space and is ideal for entertaining and al fresco dining.

If you want a break from whale watching and ocean breezes, walk back through the living area and out more glass doors to the sheltered rear deck. There is also a separate Zen courtyard off the living area, complete with tranquil fishpond and lush plantings for those who want some solitude.
